Emily interviews Masha Rumer, author of “Parenting with an Accent: How Immigrants Honor Their Heritage, Navigate Setbacks, and Chart New Paths For Their Children.” In our chat, Masha talks about how immigrant parents get to have twice the guilt about feeding their kids dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, why her kids have multiple pairs of slippers, and the one holiday from her childhood she doesn’t celebrate anymore.
